Intelligent network transport device. Concept and design by Torkel Döhmers.   NetPod is a single person transport device for communal use. Totally automatic with a voice controlled interface. Everybody can use it, young as old.         The NetPod uses the most efficient way of transport - in this case connected with other NetPods in an underground area. It also connects to monorails, ropeways, high speed trains and buses.         It climbs buildings like an elevator, to take you directly from one doorstep to another...         The interior and it's interface is simple to allow everyone to use it. Tell NetPod your desired destination, and it takes you there in the most efficient way. There are no windows due to varying environments and for people having fear for heights. Projection screens on the inside still allows the user to see the actual environment or even other environments. A personal "filter" shows e.g. beautiful images when passing a red light district (or vice versa). It is also possible to connect to other people via the Internet or watch your favourite news channel. Two trackballs and the screens makes it possible to use NetPod as an office while on the go.       The NetPod automatically connects to high speed trains when travelling longer distances or between cities...
